Tudo o que pode ser escrito sobre este local, casa, envolvente, atmosfera, peca sempre por defeito. Provavelmente a melhor experiência que alguma vez tive enquanto hospede. Posso aformar que tive sempre a felicidade de viajar muito e visitar lugares únicos, no entanto a Quinta do Vale da Ermida está sem qualquer exagero num dos lugares mágicos difíceis de encontrar. Obrigado Catarina por tudo! Não é normal encontrar um “host” com o seu espirito, gosto excepcional (no mínimo detalhe da casa), simpatia, cultura e um “saber receber” incomum. Sei que quem ler este meu comentário poderá pensar que de alguma soa a exagero, mas podem acreditar que o único exagero para o qual tem de estar preparados, é a excecional experiência que vos espera! Everything about this stay has been amazing. The hosts go above and beyond, the space is incredible, the views are breathtaking and the wine is heavenly. I almost DON'T want to recommend this place because I wish it could stay my little secret! Come here for an unforgettable experience and trust me, it's worth every penny and more.

Espaço extremamente cuidado, com excelente bom gosto e preparado para receber, com especial conforto, famílias e grupos numerosos. We had a wonderful sunny and warm October weekend in Quinta Do Valley Da Ermida. The house and surrounding mountains are even more beautiful than the pictures and there was more than enough space for the 9 of us. The roads coming into Ermida are difficult to navigate from the south (peso da regua) but much easier from the north (porto). The house is very remote but we were able to hire a taxi to take us to dinner in town one night. Overall we loved this house and location more than all of the other places we drove through in the Duoro and our only regret was not staying longer. You would be missing out by visiting the Duoro Valley without staying here.

What a pleasant surprise... absolutely amazing home “lost” in Douro where nature and peace are combined perfectly. Hadn’t good luck with weather so we weren’t able to enjoy outside spaces as they deserve. For sure I’ll be returning for a long weekend with friends.

Una casa preciosa, en un entorno increíble, los anfitriones pusieron todo a nuestra disposición, cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar la puedes encontrar en esta maravillosa casa, han tenido numerosos detalles con nosotros, celebrábamos las bodas de oro de mis padres y tuvieron el detalle de regalarles una tarta tan bonita que daba pena hasta comérsela tambien nos dejaron una botella de champán para celebrar. (…) Los chicos disfrutaron un montón en la piscina y en el río navegando con la la barca que nos dejaron a nuestra disposición . Solo tenemos buenas palabras para los anfitriones se nota que disfrutan recibiendo. Solo un consejo llevar comida suficiente por qué una vez allí ya nadie quiere salir. Muchas gracias por hacer casas así en sitios así y decidir compartirlas. Esperamos poder volver. Hasta pronto!!!

Pictures don’t do this home justice: Amazing hospitality, and a perfectly idyllic setting. We spent most days in the pool and walking down to the river for wading and skipping rocks. The beds are very comfortable and the house, while it looks like it is out of a magazine, is very kid friendly. Smaller toddlers might have problems with the stairs, but our four (ages 3 - 10) had absolutely no issues, even in the dark. 10 days went by way too fast. The peace and solitude come at a price, so plan your grocery trips well since it was about 25 min or so to town. Fresh baked bread was delivered daily by Jose and we enjoyed the big Weber grill for most of our dinners. Though expensive, we truly enjoyed this house and would highly recommend it if you want to get away from it all. We would love to come back!

Hemos ido un grupo de amigos a pasar un fin de semana y ha sido una experiencia increíble. Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y serviciales desde el primer momento, el trato ha sido inmejorable. Con respecto a la casa, posee todos los servicios necesarios para estar agusto y pasar unos días tranquilos en el medio de un paisaje impresionante. En fin, una experiencia de 10.
